Caroline Williams

Caroline Williams is a Peace Corps Volunteer from New Mexico, USA who worked with Fundacion Avanzar from June, 2024 until May, 2025. During this time, Caroline engaged with patients and their families in the “Ludoteca” (game room) of the public regional hospital, Vicente Corral Moscoso, on a consistent basis while supporting the development and execution of “colonias vacacionales” (summer camps) at the foundation.

Using her Peace Corps training, Caroline worked with other volunteers to develop a sustainable manual for future Ludoteca volunteers, a series of workshops discussing life skills and healthy habits, and infographics that discuss the purpose of play. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve and learn from volunteer work with the most vulnerable populations made possible through collaboration with the Fundación Avanzar
